Birds are magnificent winged creatures, free to fly where they want. Unfortunately, when their numbers increase around your house their nesting customs can create a huge problem. Not to mention the parasites they carry in the warmth of those beautiful feathers such as mites, lice, ticks and fleas.

The areas birds like to nest are within buildings or roof structures or outside in sheltered areas, e.g. underneath roof overhangs. Some birds build truly ghastly nests and the area below their nests gets littered with bird droppings, feathers, nesting materials and even empty egg shells worked out of the nests. Furthermore their nests can block gutters and droppings can deface the exterior of your property or foul up parked cars.

Bird problems are mainly experienced in areas where food can be found such as restaurants, hospitals, residential homes, etc. We mainly work with four problem birds, namely sparrows, starlings, gulls and pigeons in the Western Cape.
